Fall Nails |
I'm sure by now you have heard people ranting and raving about all the new fall nail polish collections from O.P.I. While they are absolutley beautifull, I would like to point out the heavy load of $$$$$ they cost an average of eight dollars a pop. While 8$ doesn't seem like much it can transform into a budget nightmare when you buy colors for each season.
But if you are anything like me, having a nailpolish to match your every handbag is a dream come true. So the alternative? Drugstore nail polishes. Splurge for the top coats and basecoats, such as these: http://www.orlybeauty.com/treatment.php?c=6 http://www.amazon.com/OPI-Drip-Dry/dp/B000NCZ410 And go with cheap color in the middle :)
And what's my new favorite you ask? NYC Quick dry polish. These retail for 1.99$ in drugstores, and online. Can you say <3 href="http://www.newyorkcolor.com/products/index.cfm?item=561">http://www.newyorkcolor.com/products/index.cfm?item=561 While I could sit here ranting and raving it seems like the wonderful Steph's Closet has already done it for me, in a much more organized manner. http://www.stephscloset.com/blog/beauty/2008/12/419/new-line-nyc-introduces-quick-dry-nail-polish/
I recommend:
Blues: China Town, West Village
Reds/Browns: Lincoln Center, Canal Street, Broadway
Golds: Fifth Avenue, Bryant Park, Park Avenue, Central Park |

Hello There :) |
This being a blog among thousands of other beauty blogs, I'm shocked your reading this one! Don't worry, I'm happy as well :) I'm devoting this blog to all the girls who want to look gorgeous with out spending a fortune, or even close to one. As a 14 year old with no allowence (I have no idea how I even manage) I'm definetley not comfortable with spending 38$ on a foundation, no matter how much the girls on Youtube love it. So expect a lot of drugstore things, because trust me, I tried all of them! |
